He is a writer and editor, with a degree from the University of Antioquia. He was born in Santa Rosa de Cabal (Colombia), but he is Antioquian by family and formation. He was founder and editor of the magazines Oassys and Rampa. He did unfinished studies in anthropology and sociology. It had a column by Medellín in EL MURO, the cultural guide of Buenos Aires. He was a member of the literary workshop of the Pilot Public Library of Medellín, directed by Manuel Mejía Vallejo. He was part of the staff of the Spanish literary magazine Oxigen. He has written cultural scripts for television. He has collaborated in different written media in Colombia and abroad. Founder of the writers’ symposium Los Octámbulos, which currently operates in Medellín. His children’s fables are featured in the multimedia literature Antioqueña, Classic and Contemporary, Fundación Viztaz 2004. He was a guest writer at the Book and Culture Festival Medellín 2010. He was a member of the jury of the Resonancias I Contest in Paris in 2012. He is the author Of the books Towards a Psychoanalytic Aesthetic (New Man, 2001) Against the Wind of Oblivion (New Man, 2001, co-authored with William Ospina and John Saldarriaga), The Purple Stole (The Octámbulos, 2009), Feminism: Sacrifice and Negotiation in The Times of Law (Editorial Universidad de Antioquia, 2010 in co-author), The Narcissistic Wounds of Humanity (ITM, 2013)
